Kalno Medus – natural wildflower honey with a hint of linden
Honey from where the air is cleaner and bees live the way they should – freely, among fields, meadows and forests. Kalno Medus is collected in the Pyvesa river valley in the Pasvalys district of Lithuania, an area of clean nature, few people and almost no industry.
It is a multi-floral summer honey in which the aroma of flowering linden comes through most clearly, gently complemented by the freshness of mint and the richer notes of buckwheat blossom.
Collected far from city bustle and industry, in a quiet natural corner of the country, the honey keeps what matters most: its naturalness. It is unprocessed and unheated, keeping the true character of honey. Every spoonful is a reminder of a warm summer day, meadows in bloom and the quiet work of bees.
Mild yet rich in flavour, it is perfect:
• in morning tea or herbal infusions
• on fresh bread with butter
• in marinades and desserts
• or just as it is – straight from the spoon, when you want something natural and real.
